Omar Victor Diop在他的作品中以視覺藝術家對色彩、氛圍、構圖的觸覺，融入時尚世界及人像攝影，因而為人熟悉。他於2022年受邀到諾曼第海岸的海濱度假勝地多維爾，這裡的地貌風光讓他聯想到童年於達卡所見的大西洋海灘。Diop重新繪畫度假村的房屋及建築物，並加重視覺效果，使這些房屋成為上演奧德賽式自我歷險的劇場，並由其他角色及藝術家的另一個自我在當中客串，而一切表象皆是用以呈現他對作為異鄉達卡人的內在思考。Omar Victor Diop在1980年生於達卡，常年往返塞內加爾及巴黎。他自幼便熱愛攝影、文學及歷史，並結合這些興趣成為盈育創意的豐沃土壤，磨煉出精通多種藝術形式的天賦，包括拼貼藝術、創意寫作、時尚及紡織品設計等。他於2011年應邀參加泛非洲攝影雙年展Rencontres de Bamako，標誌著其攝影師職業生涯的正式展始。他的作品是主要文化機構的藏品，他拍攝的照片亦經常刊登於世界各地的雜誌。2021年，他的首部著作《Omar Victor Diop》由5 Continents Editions出版。路易威登Fashion Eye旅遊攝影集系列從品牌的旅遊傳統尋找靈感，請來攝影新秀以至業界傳奇攝影師，透過時尚攝影師的眼睛，探索不同的城市、地區或國家。每本旅遊攝影集也包含大量大幅的照片，還有傳記式文章和攝影師訪談或評論文章。這個繼路易威登旅遊指南及路易威登遊記後的第三個旅遊系列，帶來時尚的旅遊攝影作品，透過合作攝影師的獨特鏡頭，呈現精彩名城、偏遠之地或夢想國度的風情。
